Food : Reindeer meat sausage hot dog

I just arrived at Bergen half an hour earlier and my Airbnb host, Yi has kindly picked me up from the train station. We are now on our way to this hot dog place called Trekronen.
Before I came to Norway, I was searching for cheap yet tasty food to eat in Bergen online and I came across Trekroneren which is highly recommended on Tripadvisor. So, I decided to give it a try especially when Yi agrees that it is delicious too.
When I arrive at Trekroneren, I can tell that it is indeed a popular place as many people come and go with a hot dog in their hands. Some also stay by the side of the road to finish it before leaving.
All right, there are 10 choices here and I choose the reindeer meat sausage as it is more exotic and recommended by Yi too.
For the toppings, you can choose either fried onions or raw onions. The hot dog also comes with a free cup of juice at the price of NOK 58. Cheap, right? Well, it is considered cheap in Norway. Haha.
I take a bite and OMG, it is good!! No wonder it has such good reviews. I love the taste of raw onions which gives it a bit more spice and it also blends in well with the sausage. Yumms……
Simply put, it is a simple yet satisfying meal! I am contemplating whether to have another one but change my mind since I am on a budget. =p
